The international trading platform ITS saw its monthly trading volume rise to a fresh record of $1.82 billion in October 2025, up 70% from $1.07 billion in September.

Average daily trading volume rose to nearly $80 million compared to $48.5 million a month earlier. Investors executed more than 363,000 transactions in October, a 48% increase from September.

The surge in volumes was driven by heightened volatility in global markets and a growing number of traders and investors operating on ITS. The platform also welcomed a new broker in October – Kazakhstan-based N1broker.

As of early November, 17 brokers from Kazakhstan, Armenia, Cyprus, South Africa, Oman and Bulgaria are connected to ITS, underscoring the platform’s international scope and its active development within the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC).

Among the most actively traded international securities on ITS in October were Meta (META), Tesla (TSLA), Cipher Mining Inc. (CIFR), Freedom Holding Corp. (FRHC), CleanSpark Inc. (CLSK), Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD) and Oracle Corporation (ORCL).

“October’s record results confirm that our strategy to build a regional hub for international liquidity in Central Asia is delivering results. We continue to expand the ITS ecosystem by increasing the number of participants and available instruments, making the AIFC and Kazakhstan more attractive to global investors,” said Chingiz Kanapyanov, Chief Executive Officer of ITS.

The ITS platform offers access to over 3,000 investment instruments, including more than 300 ETFs, enabling investors to build strategies for any market scenario.

ITS also provides ETFs based on its own indexes – ITS World and ITS Shariah – as well as a new product, single-stock ETFs, which allow investors to gain fractional exposure to high-value shares such as Tesla and Netflix.

About ITS

ITS is an international liquidity hub. Central to ITS's business model are the principles of best execution and smart order routing technology. These principles enable investors to execute securities transactions at the best prices available on the global financial market, regardless of the transaction volume. This technology ensures that the liquidity for foreign securities on ITS matches that of leading international platforms where these securities are traded.

ITS Central Securities Depository Limited, the central depository for ITS, offers depository services for the storage and settlement of securities. The depository has received Qualified Intermediary with primary withholding responsibility (WQI) status from the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Operating a clearing house that acts as a Central Counterparty, ITS assumes the counterparty role for all obligations of clearing participants and manages the clearing process for transactions on the ITS trading platform.

ITS also calculates its own indexes: the ITS World index (ITSW) and the ITS Shariah index (ITSS).

Trading of the first ETF in Central Asia and Caucasus, pegged to the performance of ITS’s own index – ITS World (ticker: ITSW), began on ITS in November 2024, providing a wide range of investors with a convenient and balanced instrument for investing and trading with a low entry threshold. In January 2025, the ETF lineup expanded with the introduction of a fund based on the ITS Shariah Index.

ITS's direct clients include professional securities market participants from Kazakhstan and other countries, such as financial intermediaries who are accredited and directly registered at the AIFC. Investors, both private individuals and legal entities, access trading through these financial intermediaries, such as brokers and banks.
